Farm visit & Cooking Experience in a traditional Greek village
Argolis region is blessed with a climate that intensifies flavors in fruits and vegetables, that are grown in the region. Just a few kilometers away from Nafplio you can visit an estate that recreates centuries-old farming methods.
Enjoy a guided walk around the farm to learn the traditional ways of organic cultivation, join in a cooking class or demonstration and enchant your palate with a gastronomy experience based on seasonal products from the farm and the surrounding area.
We depart from Nafplio, and we proceed uphill to the mountainous part of Argolis. Our mission is to visit a goat farm at a small village, meet the owners and become as familiar as possible with their daily routine and habits. We help them with their everyday farming tasks and depending on the period, we milk the animals to take pure, fresh milk and we learn all the secrets of goats’ milk. Our next goal is to make our own dough and using handmade cheese from the farm to cook some traditional and delicious cheese pies.
