Duration/Length: Approximately 4 1⁄2 hours / 10 km or 6 miles

Level of difficulty: Moderate to difficult, including a lot of steps and rugged terrain (good level of fitness is required – can be amended upon request to accommodate less fit guests)

This is a 6-mile-long moderate/partly strenuous hike designed to present the famous and secret spots, as well as the breathtaking scenery & centuries old stories of the oldest and most impressive path of the island. A beautiful day, exploring and enjoying the true wonder of nature that Santorini is! It normally takes approximately 3 1/2 hours to complete it. This allows for a comfortable pace, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful hike as well as our stories.

It is considered to be a moderate/demanding hike with a lot of steps, and the biggest part of it is on paved or cobblestone surfaces. It does get rugged at some point, there is a downhill stretch that is gravel, and there is a few hundred meters of dirt road too.

This hike has been enjoyed by people as young as 8, and as old as 85 years old. We do make a few stops in order to discuss interesting facts of Santorini and Greece, but also in order to take in the views and enjoy the amazing surroundings. So far, it has only occasionally been described as demanding (as it has three elevation gains and losses) and we always suggest that guests should have a good level of fitness and no recent surgeries/injuries in order to fully enjoy it.

Accommodation in Split | Junior Suite

Allow us to introduce you to the peaceful oasis in the bustling heart of Split. Just steps away from Diocletian’s Palace, the heart of the city, which due to its magical beauty has been a part of the UNESCO’s World Heritage List since 1979. The hotel’s great location allows you to instantly switch from cozy, serene hotel atmosphere to the seductive Mediterranean vibrancy of Split. The hotel offers authentic experience and introduce you to the Mediterranean state of mind.

A century-old building that is truly a pearl of Art Nouveau. Completed in the midst of World War I, it is a masterpiece by architect Petar Senjanović, who brought a touch of recognizable Viennese Art Nouveau to Split.

Originally, the building was intended for the needs of the cooperative union. Since 1974 it has been the seat of the University of Split. Archaeological artifacts, found during construction, testify to the existence of organized urban life in Split even before the Diocletian’s Palace was built. Discovery of a bath or fountain gives us a sense that spa or market place was located at this very spot. What a wonderful starting point to explore the fascinating history of the most beautiful city in the world and its rich surroundings!

Situated in an over 100yrs old Art Nouveau beauty, each of our 31 superbly appointed rooms and 4 suites are true representatives of a bygone era that our architectural and designer team has revived by bringing in a touch of modern, as well as paying careful attention to every detail and needs of contemporary travelers.

Plenitude of natural light that comes in through large windows, views of the charming old town and comfortable beds are just a few things that will enchant your senses while staying with us. Units with a balcony or terrace further enhance the Mediterranean atmosphere.
